So, what do I get?

Don't worry, I don't spend hours droning on about general business facts. We will work on exactly what you need to focus on at any level of the process. Some of the subjects I've helped other clients with have included: office rentals, ongoing marketing as well as large one-time sales, realistic experience-based budget planning, websites, accepting payments, booking, hiring and managing employees, training manuals for employees, creating your work culture even before you hire your first employee and on and on... Need help with any of these?

Here's how it works.

First, I find out what you specifically need and where you are in the process. I do this two ways. First, we have a 20-minute conversation by phone or zoom. Or, I can send you a form to complete and return to me prior to our meeting so that we don't waste time with a million questions. 

Then, I spend at least an hour, usually more, preparing for our actual meeting. I will outline all the topics we're going to cover and have all my answers prepared for you. I will also gather any spreadsheets or forms you may want to help you work on budgets, planning, training etc. 

Lastly, I spend another half an hour or more writing up the summary of all we covered as well as items we would like to cover during our next meeting. This helps you avoid stressful note-taking and worrying about memorizing everything. I will email that summary to you along with any of the documents we discussed in the meeting, ready for your use.

If we need additional hours, I encourage you to continue the process by responding to the summary letter with questions you may have thought of after the meeting or more items you want to learn. Your specific needs are the most important thing in the whole process. However, I never want to waste time during the meeting discovering them. I like to gather them ahead of time and come prepared.

So while you are paying for an hour, you're receiving years of experience, document creation, and at least 1.5 to 2 hours of work behind the scenes preparing for your unique needs.
